Naging Pilipino ang Blogger

Written on June 20, 2007 – 12:07 am | by orirunaway

Yetch.

Got the latest Yahoo Messenger?

Written on July 29, 2006 – 7:11 am | by orirunaway

If you are updated with the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger (version 8), then definitely you can enhance your IM experience thru plugins.

The plugin that I really really like to try is the Yahoo! Avatars Space.

The Yahoo! Gallery currently have 180+ plugins where you can personally choose.

With Y!M v.8 we can also add users of MSN Live! Messenger. Great expandibility.

Another My Sassy Girl MV from YouTube. Everytime I hear this musical - it reminds of how ironic life is.

Most Loved Movie - My Sassy Girl - I Believe (OST)

Written on July 27, 2006 – 1:36 am | by orirunaway

I remembered the first time I watched this movie, we were doing our POWER SUPPLY design project and the next day is our Defense. Hehe.

I knew a lot of people REALLY LOVED this movie (mostly guys, I bet). Since YouTube is a BIG HIT for filipinos (next to Friendster I guess), I was enticed to try browsing the YouTube when I’ve seen the new interface of the player (upgrades perhaps?) while I’m reading a certain feed entry. So more or less, you’ve already seen this OST in YouTube.

I love the song, so I will be posting this here - so everytime I visit I’ll be hearing it over and over again.

LOVE IT

Where I am in the PHILIPPINES?

Written on July 24, 2006 – 11:47 pm | by orirunaway

Here. Viewed from the Satellite.

I labeled the basketball court. On the corner with the white roof, that is our store..and of course, the red roof next to it is our house. Nifty eh? So.. where are you in the Philippines?

You can check the Wikimapia.org and find your house! Though Wikimapia only recommends to label distinguished landmarks to help others find their way to a place, we can’t just help it.

By the way, here is the SM North Edsa.. pretty large.

Stalkers KEEP OUT! =)

First SM Mall is SM North Edsa!

Uh. Okay …I may look stupid here but yeah.. I just learned that now. I never knew it… though I had that ‘feeling’ long ago based on what my mother told us before on the history of the house where I grow up. When they moved here, mostly around the house were tall grasses and lawn… and when SM mall was build near the area, houses around began to pop out (just like magic).

SM Annex 3 on North Edsa will expect to complete within this 2006. Wonder what was that huge mall being constructed just beside the MRT North Station? Don’t ask me I don’t know either. Heehee. But I heard it was owned by AYALA and of course, it would be an AYALA mall. Woohoo! Malapit lang ang pasyalan, anytime pwede magpalamig… madali namang maubos pera ko, woohoo!!! Shopping.. shopping… hanggang WINDOW shopping lang!

And now Mall of Asia was opened May 21, 2006… wow.. I’ll be visiting that and the first thing I’m going to do is to SEE A MOVIE! You know why…

By the way you can check this for more info: SM Prime Holdings from Wikipedia

P.S. Now I confirmed it is an AYALA mall: List of Shopping Malls in Philippines

Update: FREE iPods?!

Written on May 23, 2006 – 11:36 pm | by orirunaway

Are they really FREE?

Remember what I posted before about reading the liabilities of the site first before joining sites that offers FREEBIES as soon as you make others join too? Do you ever wonder if those kind of sites are TRUE? or SCAM?

Now check this what I found out: FREE iPod article from FIGHTIDENTITYTHEFT.com

Anyway… from that site too I found an information about SCAMS on Email that was called as NIGERIAN SCAM because it was originally started by someone who uses an information on NIGERIA (as what I had understand). It was all about receiving emails surprisingly from someone you don’t know stating that they needed help on handling such a large amount of money… and if you acknowledge by just replying to the email… they will reply with the message that you needed to pay an amount for the transaction. I remember myself long ago receiving that type of email and acknowledge somewhat by just replying "who are you?" or some interrogation if they are really true. But instead they replied with the details on the transaction stating some fees… NEVERMIND

And recently I received an email just like that (of course, with another type of story)… but I immediately delete it. Well anyway… I found this interesting: Luisa Ejercitor Estrada Taylor Version: "West African advanced fee" or "419" Email Scam.

Slvr_1

Yehey! Got a brand new CP! Love it… though, I hate the playback of the videos… verrrry pixelated and playback fps were slow… nauuna pa ang audio with a slow motion effect. And what a poor CSTN display, it would be better if that would be a TFT display with 256 color pixels (which is a very clear and crisp color, like a True Color display). Also the display of the text when you are trying to type a text message, ang laki ng mga letters… doesn’t that have an option to make it smaller? Baka mamaya nagte-text ka, yung katabi mo di na mahihirapan sa pagsilip kung ano ang tine-text mo. To sum up the overall CONS of this phone:

CONS:

1. Low FPS on playback of videos, pixelated

2. CSTN display

3.  No option to make text letters small

4. NO Automatic keypad lock

5. Pre-installed media (pictures, games, videos, etc) cannot be shared through Bluetooth — it cannot be even deleted! (because I was trying to free up the small damn space which is 10MB)

So far those what I can say about the CONS. And the rest… its great! Connectivity through Bluetooth and USB is already enough for me. Masaya na ko dun.

Anyway here what I’ve got from the good points of this phone:

SUMMARY OF FEATURES:
• Ultra sleek sliver form with vivid glass color display
• Integrated 4x zoom VGA digital camera with auto-timer and multimedia photo album creation
• Video capture and playback with support of MPEG4, .3gpp, H.263 files
