ATTENTION: To all Filipino residents!

Written on January 6, 2006 – 6:02 pm | by orirunaway

RECENTLY, I’ve received several emails from friends/colleagues who were referring me to sign up on a certain site in able to win an Ipod Nano as soon as I do the same, referring the site to others for them to sign up. Well, does it hurt for me to state that site? Besides, I’ve already encountered a lot of the same site as that before. Some offers not only Ipods, but also Plasma TVs, digicams, Sony Playstations,  (etc. electronic gadgets) - all depends on how many that you could successfully make your referrals signed up on that site. The more referrals, the larger the prize you could get.

Hmn. Tempting it may seems, that those sites make you signed up. Nothing would harm you if you would try, wouldn’t be? Malay mo, makalusot! BUT, have you ever tried reading the TERMS and CONDITIONS, and PRIVACY POLICY of those sites? Hmp, nakakatamad nang magbasa nun, ang haba-haba kasi at puro blah blah blah… you might say. I feel the same way too, it makes me weary reading those thingies. Yet, it is worth reading it. If you’re too tired to bother, why not just go into the details? TRY TO LOOK FOR THE LIABILITY OF THE SITE.

Directing my message to you all my fellow filipinos, either online novices or experts, I looked for the liability in the Privacy and Policy of the site that was referred to me through email, the site namely: American Survey Alliance. Stated below:

Use By Non United States residents is Prohibited

AmericanSurveyAlliance is intended solely for use by residents of the
United States. All persons not residing in the United States are
prohibited from registering on AmericanSurveyAlliance.

I’m sorry, but it is just a waste of time to sign up when it is just clearly stated that it prohibits non-U.S. residents to register. Pls. practice to read (if not, look) the liabilities of sites that are offering you products/freebies as soon as you register. Especially that you already had multiple accounts everywhere on the web (like me!), safety is a must… now that scams, and people that are fooling us to produce money in an easy way, is everywhere. Naniniwala ako na kung gaano kadali magkaroon ng pera, ganun din kadali mawala ang pera. Though not all times this proves to be true - but rarely it would happen, estimating, 5 out of 100.

Some sites like that, enables worldwide participation, but for a cost. Like product shipping, premium memberships, blah blah… and besides looking for liabilities, look for the DATA COLLECTION/SECURITY/INFORMATION SHARING of sites when you sign up.

Well as for me, I’m currently in the middle of the doubt regarding a certain company on U.S. who offers me direct employment, with all the fees paid for FREE. Tempting? I already paid a certain amount but it is not a fee. Now, I couldn’t contact the representatives here in the Philippines. THIS SERVES AS ANOTHER  LESSON FOR ME. Kasi! Sinabihan ko na nga mother ko na parang PEKE talaga ang company na yon, i-TRY pa rin daw with all the usual - "malay mo?" Damn. I KNEW it, it is all obvious on the way they wrote the email that they were fooling us. I keep reminding my mom that it seems fake, but she keeps hoping it is not. They were just wasting my time when instead I should be devoted in searching more liable jobs.

No worry, I’ll document the company HERE as soon as I proved it to be fooling a lot of people. Remember, put a doubt in an EASY opportunity and go for a HARD opportunity. You know what I mean, mahina ako sa english grammar eh. Hehe!
