Yep ! I had the opportunity to discover this MEEBO.com site from work while most of my co-workers surf on the internet and peeked on what they are browsing. Computer terminals were restricted to us but the technical side of these people got their way on bypassing the restrictions on the internet surfing. And so was this messenger thingy.
Well if you are on the go and desperately needed to go online and IM someone but with much luck the computer you rent doesnt have any IM installed, then this must be the answer to your prayer. MEEBO.com was created with AJAX program (do i know what am I talking about?) by which offers strong encryption of your password and does not store any information in any way EXCEPT if you join the MEEBO community.
BTW, I was amused (if not so suprised) to see there is a FILIPINO version of the site. You will be able to see a lot of language version at the bottom of the main page, and I tried switching to Filipino language. A little bit similar to the Google.com.ph page, the words that were translated sounds funny. But not a big issue though!
You can safely login to the site without being a member of MEEBO. But if you like this site so much and wanted to maximize its features… then go join the Meebo community, fill in the username and password and then HIT
