Are they really FREE?
Remember what I posted before about reading the liabilities of the site first before joining sites that offers FREEBIES as soon as you make others join too? Do you ever wonder if those kind of sites are TRUE? or SCAM?
Now check this what I found out: FREE iPod article from FIGHTIDENTITYTHEFT.com
Anyway… from that site too I found an information about SCAMS on Email that was called as NIGERIAN SCAM because it was originally started by someone who uses an information on NIGERIA (as what I had understand). It was all about receiving emails surprisingly from someone you don’t know stating that they needed help on handling such a large amount of money… and if you acknowledge by just replying to the email… they will reply with the message that you needed to pay an amount for the transaction. I remember myself long ago receiving that type of email and acknowledge somewhat by just replying "who are you?" or some interrogation if they are really true. But instead they replied with the details on the transaction stating some fees… NEVERMIND…
And recently I received an email just like that (of course, with another type of story)… but I immediately delete it. Well anyway… I found this interesting: Luisa Ejercitor Estrada Taylor Version: "West African advanced fee" or "419" Email Scam.
